It is widely believed that volcanic activity along with wind,  water and time is largely responsible for the wondrous landscapes we find on our planet. That was the motivation for starting  this personal project. To combine the beauty of Lava with the beauty of todays landscapes. The shots of lava were captured at the Kilauea Volcano on the Big Island Hawaii composited with my Landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and Southwest.
